Last year , just after Christmas, it started to become real. Our dream of relocation from London to Scotland was just about to materialise. Since May 2015 we have called the Highlands our home and I sometimes wonder why we didn’t do it much sooner, It is a dream to live here.
Speaking about dreams, another one is slowly but surely becoming reality. As you can see on the pictures, I have spent many a day slowly getting used to heights, although still battling acrophobia. It is way better after a few months in Scotland and the dream of becoming a mountainlLeader is suddenly not just a far away dream, it’s reachable by hard work and determination.
I would never have thought I would one day be buying an ice axe, crampons and climbing helmet.

Mid March we are filming in the Peak District with Will4Adventure, where I will take part in their Fear Of Heights course and hopefully walk away with tools to finally erase the irrational fear and head up in the mountains and film some amazing footage. On camera will be Greg Michael, cameraman/climber, and Jason Ingamells, a man with many a title but to name a few owner of Woodland Ways, co-owner of Wild Earth Productions and FRGS.

After a good cold winter and a lot of dark hours spent outdoors, I would like to thank our sponsor KEELA for the amazing gear, especially the Munro jacket and salopettes. Keeping us dry, warm and safe in all conditions.
